Will scanning for new channels mess with existing?

Hello,

I have been happily using Argus for a couple of month with 2xDVB + 2xDVB-T2 tuners, and I have just noticed that I have a channel missing - CBeebies HD.

So, I just wnated to know whether I could initiate a new scan, just on the frequency that channel uses, with one of the DVB-T2 tuners, and add it to the channel line up and EPG grabbing, without everything else going wrong?!

I am just a bit worried about beginning the simple task of adding one more channel, and inadvertently breaking eveything!

Hi,

If you rescan the frequency the current config should not be harmed, so you should be able to do this safely.

All done with no problems. Discovered some more new HD channels too
