Can I reinstall Argus TV without loosing settings?

I use MP TV-service (since Argus recorder does not support one of my cards), ARGUS scheduler and MP as client.

I am trying to add another card to my setup but I cannot make the connection for the new card to work.

I have no clue of how to proceed so I am thinking of reinstall Argus-TV. Can I do that without loosing all settings?

Yeah that should be fine - this is actually how upgrades are done anyway, the installer will first remove the old version and then install the new one.
