Argus TV 2.3 switch to SQLite but SQL Express/MySQL required

Post by tripkip » Fri Feb 20, 2015 11:19 am

First time user here.
I read that in 2.3 support for SQLite was added.
Why is the setup requiring either a SQL server or a MySQL server?

Hi tripkip
The RECORDER (only) has been changed to SGLite. In earlier versions, this module, that can also be used stand-alone for further cards, also needed an "up & running" SQL-Server. With 2.3 it's no more required.

The SCHEDULER (core module on the main server) still needs a SQL server.

Hope, I could help.

Btw: welcome to Argus TV!

Thank you. That's clear. I opted for the SQL server.
