Genre, CRID from OTA EPG?

If Dot-I can give us plugin support then I can make a whole world of wonderful EPG plugins appear that will support this information! I'm only hoping that it is something that he can do quite easily!

I'd be interested to know this too. The only recorder that I know of that uses CRID data is TVHeadend and that project looks like it might be fading away.

Why do you think TVHeadend "might be fading away"? Not saying it isn't, but I checked it out recently (I have to switch to a Linux based HTPC solution in the near future) and thought it looked like a viable solution.
