Signal & Quality of signal information is not provided by every card properly - so it's unfortunately not a true measure.
I unfortunately don't know the cards - are these cables ord DVB-S or DVB-S2 cards?

DVB-T
The 2 WinFast are Digital TV only via aerial
The Vista E900F is both Digital & Analogue via aerial (however I only use it for Digital TV)

Wait... Has the original problem here been fixed? It appears we're suddenly chasing a different problem on a new card.
You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Re: Recordings fail (Card xxxx Returned Card Error: No Signa
For info, i have the exact same problem with my Compro card using argus 2.1.
I have now changed my tuner priority (using a cheaper usb tuner as my main) and the problem seems to have been alleviated for now.
the problem only seemed to present itself with 2 lower quality channels - which previously worked fine although were lower in quality compared to others.
if this is a tuner problem, i am happy to chalk it up to this, but it would be great if argus could try another free tuner instead of only trying tuner 1 repeatedly.

Thanks for your reply.
I to still have the same problem with my Compro card using argus 2.1
Some stations tune OK while others fail with no signal. The Leadtek cards tune all stations with no issues.
Having said that 2.1 seems to have solved some other stability issues I was having. thanks
