[solved] CAM not found on TBS 5880?

Hi,

It says in the wiki that TBS cards w/ CAM are suported. I can't get it to work.

btw, Im sure CAM interface is mounted correctly, it works in MediaPortal.

don't know your card, but did you try to first set the CAM limit within ATV Recorder Console to "1" and try just one channel if it worked?

Just did, got same message. It's a new DVB-T2 card. Shouldn't it say in log if CI/CAM was found or not? FTA channels works great btw, much faster tuning then MediaPortal. Thanks.

Can't tell - I need no more CAM since 2 months but I don't remember CAM entries in the logs.

Do you have a setup app for your CAM module? Not all need this, but you may also enter your CI menu and see what's going on there (depending on manufacturer)

Oops.. Acctually it came with an application, I thougt it was only for MediaCenter becouse of the name "TBS-MCECITool", but it works now. I didn't need it for MediaPortal tho.. wierd. Thanks!

Hi,

I have bought two TBS5880 and have it working in MediaPortal but I used ArgusTV before and like it so I wonder if you feel it works better in ArgusTV or in MediaPortal?
