ARGUS TV

As I await the release of Argus 2.3 to try, are there any recorders you'd recommend I play with instead? I'm using Argus on Win 7 with MP as front-end but I am in no way limited to a particular OS or front-end. My machine is a fully dedicated DVR so can even be tailor-made (non general) OS.

My main priority is stability- I can tolerate missing up to 3 recordings a year due to software issues. Ugly is OK, I'd rather have a reliable system than one that looks sexy when it works half the time.

My Vista mp setup now runs for 5 years with two upgrades from argus and earlier for the record. So why change a perfect running system with something else?

I love the scheduling options!
It's stabile, works always!

Why change a winning product?

I, too, like Argus but I'm hoping for constructive feedback on other products, not praise for Argus.
