Been struggling for a couple of weeks... I am trying to get access to the web interface for viewing scheduled recording setting up recordings and viewing the epg from outside the home network via the interface. How do I set this up and what do I type into the web browser to access it if someone could show me an example I would appreciate it. Works fine over lan but cant access from outside lan. Do I need to forward a port in the router? I know how to port forward but no idea what port needs to be open or how to type the address of my server into the browser. HELP!! lol

Ok so going by the wikki port 42080 is used for the argus tv web access. So I forwardered port 42080 to port 80 using udp and tcp protocol(is this supposed to be http protocol?because I cant work out how to choose the port number for http access in my fritzbox 7490 router) When I type my external ip and port number 80 into my web browser eg xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 it changes to xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:42080/en/ but does not connect me to the argus tv web access page. What am I doing wrong?

Sorted it out being a http server I thought I had to forward port 42080 to port 80 for some strange reason... I just forwarded 42080 and can access it via my "external ip address:42080"
