Hi there,
I currently use only two recording options when I set a new recording via Mediaportal - record once (for films and one-off programs) and record every time on every channel (for series).
I did ask in another thread whether, when you choose the second option, it could have the record episode once option checked by default but I seem to remember that this was not possible.
What I currently have to do at the moment is set all my series records for the day, then open the scheduler on my desktop, click on each scheduled recording and manually tick the record once for each show.
It is not the worst thing in the world to have to do but I was wondering whether there might be another way. Is there perhaps a way of accessing the Scheduler inside Mediaportal or XBMC (I use both) via a plugin/addon or is there perhaps some other option that I have not considered?
Thanks.
Change recording options with remote control.

In the "program agenda" as its called within my mp install I can check the box new episodes. Isn't that what you mean?

Hi Rudig,
I am not sure I know exactly where you mean.
Where abouts in mediaportal is this option - does it come up when you schedule recordings?

I believe its the "upcoming recordings" page.
You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Excellent - thanks guys!
Cannot believe that I missed that.
That was the one thing that was missing from my otherwise perfect setup. The WAF factor is now back on my side.
