I didn't had to disable/re-enable the options, it just worked out of the (new) box.
Did you hit "enter" on your remote?
Did the dialogue to enter chan# showed up?

Did a fresh install & still the same.

I don't use channel groups, I use All Channels only (as I only have 17 channels), could this have something to do with it? I remember a similar problem in MP a while ago.

Yes enter, yes the dialogue came up. If I select the LCN of a channel higher than 17, I go nowhere. If I select the LCN of a channel lower than 17, instead of going to the LCN it goes to the channel number as per XBMC (as per my screenshot). e.g. if I choose 9, it goes to ABC3 instead of Nine Digital (which has an LCN of 9).

Same story on Android. :(

I tried setting the channels in to a group & it made no difference. Not sure what else to try.

Did you try to reset PVR database? And within ATV your LCN's are properly defined, the channels are sorted by LCN and there is no gap or double defined numbers, deactivated channels in between in the numbers like 1, 2, 2, 3, 7, 8, ..?

Yes, yes, yes & yes.

I think my Argus addon hasn't been updated. I've got 1.6.150.144 & the last item in the changelog is 18/11/12. Fresh install of RC1 (confirmed).

I have another small issue (since RC1): from time to time XBMC "forgets" that the PVR is activated, means: it seems to deactivate itself. Seems to happen only when starting up XBMC.
I get the message, "no PVR client activated" and am led to the list of add-ons. Next to Argus add-on is never written activated or deactivated, but it occurs in the corresponding list of add-ons

yes, same here - but changelog hasn't been updated probably because last update refers to 1.ZERO.150.144 and not to 1.SIX.150.144
Still here's working fine using LCNs

Guys I don't like to ruin your happiness, but the Locgical Channel Support is not in Frodo RC1. RC1 tag was created one day before the merge of this code.....

Team XBMC has been updating my version numbering :( Anyway, the current version number is 1.6.161, my version number with the LCN support should read 1.6.160.145 (11-12-2012).

Anything newer should support LCN's. The easiest way to check is to look into the log file. The retrieved LCN's are logged. These log lines should look something like this:

Code: Select all

...
20:44:46 T:2748308288 DEBUG: AddOnLog: ARGUS TV client: Found TV channel: Nederland 3, Unique id: 3, Backend channel: 28
...
