Re: Development progress
I'm fairly sure tompa is looking for teletext subtitles, whereas we are witnessing DVB subtitles working fine. Could that sum it up?
Re: Development progress
Hi all,
Given all the progress the XBMC plugin has had, correct me if I am wrong, all planned features are pretty much ready for the upcoming release of Frodo.
I was wondering wether this thread (or ideally a new one) can be dedicated so Fred just update us on new features or known issues and we mortal users just open new threads to follow partcular issues.
When Argus XBMC plugin was a very changing land it made sense to keep track on what was going on in a single thread but I am of the opinion it is time to follow specific problems in specific threads.
Just my AUD$ 0.20.
Cheers,
Jav

On my Harmony 900 I've programmed a key which let me changing subtitling very easy and it works the same when watching a TV-stream or video file.
Re: Development progress
Thanks for the info, I didn't know that one!RogerS wrote:

But you have to explain what should happen, I cant make it to work at all with "T", even though I have or not started "teletext"

Re: Development progress
Hi all,
I have a small issue:
After I changed some (radio) channel names from within Argus, I get continuously the error message of PVR "GUID to XBMC Channel".
I reset the PVR database - no change.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance - Christoph

... solved by incidence: I found a (deactivated) channel with defined guide and a scheduled series recording (!) - why it was scheduled on a deactivated channel.. I don't know, it shouldn't.Christoph21x wrote: After I changed some (radio) channel names from within Argus, I get continuously the error message of PVR "GUID to XBMC Channel".

Since this was corrected (removed guide from that channel), it didn't occur again.

Re: Development progress
A recent version of the PVR API has added the possibility to overrule the XBMC built-in genre types.
Version 1.6.164 will show the exact string sent as "Category" by ARGUS TV on the XBMC genre description, eg. "Kinderprogramma", "Series". The add-on does not translate or change the string and therefore any localization should be preserved.
I have issued a pull request to Team XBMC for this change, and once that is accepted you should have working Genre descriptions.
Cheers,
Fred
