There have been no code changes for the addon since December 11th.

answering my self...

found the answer @ xbmc.org

"A quick note for Linux users, PVR addons have now been made a separate install from XBMC and can be found in the same PPA as XBMC."

edit: this is how I installed

Code: Select all

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/unstable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc-pvr-argustv

Hi.
I did not know if to start a new thread or to just add to the development one (if this is in the wrong spot just let me know).
I have been playing around on my windows x64 system and noticed that if I use fast-forward or rewind (x2, x4 etc) it appears to work but fast forward is not at the right speed. However the big step forward and backwards and also standard step forward and back don't move the image at all. The gui shows -15 secs and the image on screen flickers BUT it just carries on playing from the place it is. This only happens on live TV and not recorded.

I am not sure if this is an Argus tv, xbmc Argus tv plugin or xbmc issue but would value some guidance in how to find out?

Many Thanks

Phil

I will try to reproduce this one of the upcoming days. Can't predict where the problem may lie. Actually XBMC sees one very large file when doing Live-TV. Rewind, fast forward, skipping back and forth, that is all being done by XBMC directly by moving the file pointer within this large file. But perhaps there is something wrong with the support for that on Windows.
