openelec plugin

Post by willplaice » Mon Dec 03, 2012 1:54 pm

I've not touched my install for ages, and recently put the Frodo beta1 onto my openelec box... all was fine (using the 4therecord plugin)...

this auto updated to beta2 a few days ago, and the plugin doesn't work...

should i be updating the plugin? (only see windows and linux versions)

am running beta1 now - but 2 has the epg fix

Hi Will!

Do you use Argus-TV 2.0.1?
If so, and if you're using Frodo later than Beta1, you should try the Linux plugins from http://www.dotnetdevelopers.net/xbmc/xbmcpvr.html
But... you may have to wait for the next OpenELEC version.
Am using OE only without PVR so far...

It seems that openelec have removed FTR support on the latest beta... however if you go to http://openelec.thestateofme.com/ and download latest image.. I'm using this on RaspberryPi then ArgusTV 2.0.1 is supprted.

When I updated from Openelec 3 beta1 to beta 2 I got the message "TV Service has been started with no plugins enabled". When I went into the addons I noticed there was no FTR addon anymore, there was however an Argus addon, so I set that up, enabled it and it works fine.
