I notice every now and again recorded programmes do not show up instantly in the XBMC recordings list - I can see them on the HDD and via the web interface. Restarting XBMC resyncs and brings everything in. Is there a setting or something I'm missing?

You can click on the 'Recordings' on the Left Side Menu and it will refresh the list.
I don't want to sound like an ass (especially to Fred since he does great work on the add-on), but I have recently been trying to get the XBMC dev's and add-on developers together to find a solution to this issue. The XBMC folks say they have a solution, but add-on developers have issues with it. I started the thread on the XBMC forum here -> http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=149732.
