PVR backend error when trying to add a recording from epg

i get a PVR backend error msg when trying to add a recording from epg on xbmc.

i can add other recordings from that same channel but not that one.

i can add that recording from the scheduler consoles epg and then it shows on xbmc but i cant add it from xbmcs epg

other shows on that same channel ive tried adding work fine

yes, thats the show thats failing. maybe the title is too long?

I don't think the title is too long, but I remember that I have seen failures before with titles containing double quotes ", this was hard to re-produce for me. I never seem to have those " in my EPG titles

Mmmm, maybe I can fake a title by editing and XMLTV input file. I'll see if I can do that.

today i saw another show with the quotes " character on the title and got the same error, so it seems to me that the culprit is that character, as you pointed out.

I have found and solved this problem in version 1.6.166 (Frodo) and version 1.7.166 (master).

A pull request has been sent to Team XBMC for both branches.
