I have the Argos TV software running on Windows and the tuner is an HD Home Run Plus. Everything works but when changing the channel from an HD to SD channel under XBMC gotham beta 3, I get an error that the channel could not be played check the log.
Here is a snippit of what the log says. Anyone have any advice on this?

Unable to change from HD to SD channels without error
Re: Unable to change from HD to SD channels without error
The first thing I'd try is changing one of the advanced card settings.
Open the ARGUS TV Recorder Console, go to cards and at the bottom, click the "Show Settings" button at the bottom right, and select the advanced tab.
On the right hand side of the new pane, in the DirectShow Graph settings, check the "reset when card is idle" box.
See if that works.

You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Re: Unable to change from HD to SD channels without error
Thanks for the reply. Both cards currently have that setting enabled.
After reading my initial post I realized I should have provided more information about my setup.
Argus tv is running under a Windows 7 Hyper-V guest
I'm using an HD home run plus as a tuner
My client is a raspberry pi running XBMC gotham beta 3
The channel switching problem occurs under the XBMC client. If I change the channel on the windows 7 hyper-v guest using the HD home run Quick TV software, I don't experience this issue.
Anything else you can suggest?
Thanks

Re: Unable to change from HD to SD channels without error
I think this is solely the client not handling the change in stream content.
I'm going to move this to the XBMC section. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can point you in the right direction.

Re: Unable to change from HD to SD channels without error
Okay, it looks like you pasted a logfile from the ARGUS TV Recorder (Recorder.log) am I correct?
Fred
- The errors shown in that log are internal to ARGUS TV and have no relation to XBMC
- The HD home run Quick TV software is a stand-alone program that has NO relation with ARGUS TV. The fact that this program works really does NOT mean you have ARGUS TV configured correctly.
- Start the ARGUS TV Scheduler Console on any windows machine (the Hyper-V host is a good candidate) and connect with your ARGUS TV server on your W7 Hyper-V guest
- In the Left-Hand_side menu select 'Live TV/Radio'
- Select one of the television channels from the list
- Press 'Start Live Stream'
- When you get this working, and ONLY after you get this working, start configuring the addon within XBMC
