Plugin fails to install on XBMC 13.0 and Ubuntu 14.04

I have been running XBMC 12.3 on Ubuntu 13.10 for some time.
After upgrading to 14.04 the plugin was uninstalled and I could not install it again.
Now I have upgraded to XBMC 13.0 but the plugin can stilll not be installed.
XBMC says that the plugin does not meet the requirements.
I have done a uninstall of XBMC and a reinstall but it still does not work.

Any idea why?

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc-pvr-argustv

You didn't change from 32 to 64 bit?

You are using the addon version for Gotham (the version number should look like '1.9.xxx')?

Installing the plugin through apt-get did it.

Helpful command to find Kodi TV clients...
