iPhone/iPad iOS client (v0.26a)
Re: iPhone/iPad iOS client (v0.24)
Hi,
I cannot install version 0.24 using the link above on my iPhone 5 with IOS 7.1
The installation starts, but at the end I get the message (translated from Dutch): "App download not possible, Argus cannot be installed at this time. <OK> <RETRY>".
Paul.

Re: iPhone/iPad iOS client (v0.24)
I am facing exactly the same problem trying to install v.024 on 3 different iOS units (1 iPhone 5S, 1 iPad mini and 1 iPad Air).
I have tried using both the http:// and the https:// links and I have also tried installing without uninstalling the existing version first and with un-installing the previous version first, restarting the unit and then after restart installing v.024
The behavior is the same: The installation process starts and every time stops when 3/4 of the installation is completed with the same error message saying that the application cannot be downloaded/installed at this time.
The iPads were updated to the latest 7.1.1 iOS version, but the iPhone was at the previous version (probably 7.1.0) and the attempt to install failed on all 3 units with the same error message

Oh, I think it needs resigning again, the 1 year must be up. I'll get it sorted out in a few days
Re: iPhone/iPad iOS client (v0.24)
That would be great, because also older versions stopped working this week on IOS devices

* EPG Grid updates background box colours much more responsively
* (immediately on any programme start/end, not every minute)

Re: iPhone/iPad iOS client (v0.25)
I've been messing with libVLC in the last couple of days to try and get an in-app video experience. Sadly its a bit limited; there is no hardware assisted decoding which means my iPad3 is basically limited to SD - I don't know if a more recent iPad Air would manage HD but mine certainly doesn't.
And I've not tested it but I suspect the SD decoding on CPU will be pretty taxing and probably run the battery life down pretty quickly.
So, the question is, would this still be useful? Or should I wait until we can do hardware decoded HD. Frankly I doubt libVLC on iOS will be adding that anytime soon, so it might just be a case of waiting for Argus to do transcoding/remuxing as part of the server, so I can play h264 over HTTP directly in the Apple-provided libraries (which would then be hardware decoded).
Any thoughts..?
