Recorder doesn't start at boot

Post by UrsulaW » Sat Jul 27, 2013 8:40 am

Hi,
I have Argus on Windows XP, it works fine if i call 'services.msc' and start recorder 'by hand'.
I reinstalled argus2.1, but the same effect 'no autostart' . Does anybody know why ?
Thanks for each answer.

Did you check for log entries in the Windows Event viewer? That should give you some indication.

I've read that setting the service to "Automatic(Delayed)" can help.

Otherwise a look in the ARGUS TV logs (Scheduler Console) or the event viewer may provide a clue.
You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Clients: Win7 64bit. MediaPortal. ArgusTV Client. StreamedMP.
