TBS6981 - Error after each use of this tuner

Post by daveb500 » Tue Dec 17, 2013 7:04 pm

I'm getting an error after each use of this card. the error is :
Turbosight: result = failure, hr = 0x80070006 (The handle is invalid.)

this might be nothing but I'm wondering if it is also linked to 2 other threads I've posted in :

Recording Stops and Starts =

Recording cause TV to stop despite free tuners =

Extract from the card log :

I believe this recording was fine but you can see in the other posts that some have not been.

EDIT:

More info, oddly the second tuner on the card is recording different data in it's log. Why would that be? (and no errors).

This morning, i pulled the offending card out of the PC, deleted the tuners from Argus and then re-added them. I then recorded stuff on each tuner and it looks like the errors have stopped. So not sure what was causing them but they have now gone (so far!)
