Recordings do not start in early hours of morning

Hi,
Over the past few weeks I have noticed an increasing problem with ARGUS's recorder. Whenever I create a recording for the early hours of the morning (2/3AM), the machine will set a wakeup time, wake up, does not start the recording or even recognise that the recording's supposed to start, then go back to sleep a few minutes later. This behaviour has only started recently and I have tested with other channels where I can confirm it does find the show and schedules it correctly, but never actually starts recording or even tune.
