WebGrab+Plus and Argus - Supporter Thread
Re: Perfect XMLTV solution: WebGrab+Plus
I have added some information about WebGrab+Plus to the EPG Grabbers section of the wiki. I have never used WebGrab+Plus so perhaps someone would like to check it/add to it/correct it.

You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Re: Perfect XMLTV solution: WebGrab+Plus
Does this program enable episode number entering into argus via tvguide? Previously, I'd been using mc2xml + Guide Enhancer but it would be nice if I could do it in one fell swoop.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: Perfect XMLTV solution: WebGrab+Plus
I don't know the requirements for episode number of argus tvguide. I assume it uses the standard xmltv_ns format. If so, there are a number of supported tvguide sites for which the listed episode_num is converted to this standard. These have the word 'xmltv_ns' in the filename in the list of supported sites @ http://www.servercare.nl/Docs/SiteIni-List-Pack.11.pdffacted wrote:Does this program enable episode number entering into argus via tvguide? If the site you want to use is not in the list or doesn't have a xmltv_ns version, I can probably make it for you. Just ask.

Re: Perfect XMLTV solution: WebGrab+Plus
I'm trying to import episode numbers from TVGuide (the website). It doesn't appear that there is a xmltv_ns version per the pdf for tvguide.com. Is that true? Could it be made?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I will have a look. For which provider do you use tvguide.com?

this morning there was finally some time to look this. But the problem is that tvguide.com doesn't provide any episode data that is convertable to xmltv_ns.
Sorry, maybe you can use another site? What about directv? (Although I haven't checked if that's any better)

Re: Perfect XMLTV solution: WebGrab+Plus
Thanks for taking a look at this. I think I'm just going to stick with mc2xml + guide-enhancer which was recently updated to support argus. Just wish there was an easy one step solution that didn't require much setup.
