Windows MediaCenter Client for ArgusTV
Re: Windows MediaCenter Client for ArgusTV
Ah no sorry, you misunderstand. I'm simply on linux as I can compile Oscam to work with my patch which I cannot at present using Windows. My normal install is Windows 7 so I will be back on with that once I'ved tested the code. I'm in the process of getting a raspberry pi for my card server so the HTPC will remain on Windows 7 once re-installed and runnning.
Then, as I said, I am more than happy to test across my windows 7 and 8 pc's.

Hi Kai
I have realized that the performance playing back TV recordings using SMB is significantly better than RTSP.
Maybe you could think about using SMB for playing back recordings.
User will foresure not mind entering the UNC path once.

I found no one that will make a Code Review! That is for me the next bad thing after no feedback requests!
So can i not work and the project becomes status paused
i can only hope that you like MediaPortal or Xbmc to use this Frontends

Re: Windows MediaCenter Client for ArgusTV
I'm sorry to hear this, and again sorry that I have been unable to spare the time to test. My life is about to change considerably and a lot of effort has gone into finishing my house off!
Thanks for the effort you did do.

Re: Windows MediaCenter Client for ArgusTV
Hi Kay,
I've now got my system back up and running on a full server/client config and so I need to change the default connection from localhost to my server. Unfortunately when I run Settings from within MCE, it does nothing and I cannot find the config file to make the changes manually... Can you advise where they're stored?
