Argus-TV Guide Enhancer

Post by sjeffrey » Tue Nov 20, 2012 9:11 pm

Guide Enhancer is a project that adds the season and episode information to your guide programs in Argus-TV. The project was originally started by Geoff Stewart and then I eventually took over the maintenance.

Members ChrisRichner, Malyngo and Christopher21x have been kind enough to update the code to work with Argus 2.3 RC.

Special thanks goes to Malyngo and Christopher21x for their involvement!

Thanks guys!

Hi me again

Pretty much immediate feedback, since the change from 1.6.5 to 1.7.0 and the introduction of the 3 number episode, season is now being picked up incorrectly, ie showing season 1 episode instead of season 2, sorry for the late update regarding this, but only installed the latter version a couple of days ago, and immediately reverted to 1.6.5 which worked perfectly, anything I can do too help debugging this.

If you suspect that 3 number episode is picking up the incorrect season, you can always disable it in the config file. What does your guideenhancer log show? The method that assigned the information will be outlined in the log.

I just tried against 2.01 with your config file and it worked just fine.
I'm not sure what could go wrong as it connects to Argus successfully.
Have you tried rebooting? Does Argus TV work correctly overall?
