Any thougths on Android client?

I'll add at the beginning of this that I am not a developer so unless I can figure it out easily don't expect much from me :-)

With the advent of Google TV, Android for TVs etc. has anyone considered developing a live TV / recorded TV application? I'm curious as a particular TV channel that I want is turning to on demand content instead of being streamed over DVB-S but it not going to be for open source stuff like MediaPortal or XBMC so if I could combine my great live tv experience from Argus and these new apps that would be fantastic...

Any views on this?
