I have a broadcaster that has a nasty habit of putting in an extra minute in the EPG for their program.
For example
Program A: from 10:00 to 11:01 on Channel 1
Program B: from 11:00 to 12:00 on Channel 2.
Because Program A is a higher priority, it stops program B from recording altogether. My TV tuner only allows for one channel.
Is there a way to cut off the first minute of Program B since it's a lower priority?
Or
Is there a way to override the EPG for Program A to stop at 11:00 instead of 11:01? That last minute is just in the EPG to be annoying, and does not have any actual content.
Regards!
Small overlaps kills recording
Re: Small overlaps kills recording
For one time use you can change the end time of a recording to -2 minute in the upcoming recordings.
As far as I can tell, scheduling is all or nothing and there is no automatic scheduling to record half a show. For planning schedules the only time that can be chopped off is the pre and post record, and these are assumed to be a buffer around the epg times and thus always positive.
