Hi,

Any reason why I should not upgrade my setup to windows 10?
Running mediaportal and argus on one box.

Regards,

Rudi

I'm running MP with Argus on win10, and I have no problems that I haven't caused myself :D
N.B. I'm using Argus with MP TV-server.

Cool that is good news, you didn't have to do any strange dll things?

No, just a regular reinstall. Just ignore the warnings regarding unsupported MP version. At least it works for me. I guess it will continue working with new versions of MP 1 until the MP devs decides to modify the interface to the TV plugin.

Running Argus 2.3 on Windows 10 for over a year. Multiple front end's - Kodi on nVidia Shield, Kodi on FireTV, OpenElec on RaspberryPI, etc.

Tuners are multiple HD Homerun's - From the old MPEG2 versions to the new MPEG4 Transcoding versions. Antenna's are Amplified Winegard Flatwave's.

It's been an install and forget about it kind of a deal. Have had almost no issues for more than a year.

Very glad I made the move from MediaPortal to Argus+Kodi combination...

I just came on here to ask whether Argus and MediaPortal worked OK under Windows 10, but from reading this thread sounds like there's no issues with either, so I'll try installing over the weekend :-)

Should indeed be pretty straight forward
