Extracting season/episode info from DVB EPG

I've noticed that recording scheduler has fields about episode numbers
and also keeps history of them to avoid duplicates if chosen to.

What happens when the EPG is grabbed from the channels themselves through OTA DVB means,
where that info is part of the title/description of each program?

At least in my country, they tend to put the season number on the title of the program
and the episode number(s) at the description.

Is there a way to allow us to specify a custom pattern (maybe per channel),
so Argus TV can successfully populate season & episode information from the obtained EPG data automatically?
