Hi,
To prevent recording and playback issues it would be nice if ARGUS TV Recorder could detect important channel data changes during the day and split recordings accordingly. Let me explain:
Some channels, for example Playboy TV, broadcast only a still image during the day (with no audio) and around a certain time at night will start broadcasting their normal programs (video + audio). Now if you want to record the first show of the night, you'll run in to troubles: the recording will probably overlap the transition point (because of a pre-record, inexact EPG times or an inexact transition time etc). This causes the recording to have no audio.
It would be nice if the Recorder could detect these channel data changes and then split the recording in to separate files to prevent playback problems. DVBViewer has such a setting, probably for this purpose.
