Clickfinder Error

Post by MicF » Fri Dec 14, 2012 11:20 am

Hi,

not sure if it's a bug or my own incompetence.
I have two issues with the TVGuideImporter and Clickfinder.

1. The database is not stored, were the importer supposes it to be.

The connection string is set to:

Code: Select all

Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\Program Files (x86)\TV Movie\TV Movie ClickFinder\TVDaten.mdb;Mode=Share Deny None;Jet OLEDB:Engine Type=5;Jet OLEDB:Database Locking Mode=1;
But the mdb there is empty, even after a Clickfinder update.

The correct string would be:

Code: Select all

Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\TV Movie\TV Movie Clickfinder\TVDaten.mdb;Mode=Share Deny None;Jet OLEDB:Engine Type=5;Jet OLEDB:Database Locking Mode=1;
I can solve this, changing the string, so this is just for reference and maybe change in future versions.

2. I get an error while importing, saying something like "no clickfinder setup data in the registry. Please start Clickfinder first". But it has been started.
See screenshot (sorry it's in german).

I'm getting the same registry error. Any idea which key it is looking for? I have Clickfinder installed and import is working (using the directory mentioned above).
Could it be that the registry key is different on 32bit vs 64bit Windows? I'm using Win7 64 bit.

You need to un-check that TV Movie will be started with the import (don't remember the exact wording).

Thank you very much, that did the trick.

One additional question: Is there a way to call the guide importer as batch (without UI) to automate regular imports from Clickfinder?
