event you encounter a bug, tell us hereI had to re-setup ATV yesterday and found (again) some thing's are missing, one's going wrong or not very logic.
Recorder Console:
- "Card/Service Mapping": Services should be DELETEABLE (out of the data base), also previous/all scans
(after a couple of scans trying out maybe especially different scanning parameters (which could be tried explicitly by new users), assigning services to channels is more or less a guess. - "Card/Service Mapping": The drop-down list of scans does not contain really all scans, especially not the most recent if not the first of the day.
- "Channels": Channels should be multiply selectable and deletable (from database, re-import automatic if services are assigned or a new scan is made
- Same for "Services"
- "Channels": "Channels" that are named within the guide but whose name is different at the provider are additionally shown as Channels in this section, although no service etc. exists, just the guide data. This is confusing, do not import/add CHANNELS to this list, that should only refer to Chan/Service of Recorder(s). Of course, they have to show up in the guide drop-down menu, but not as main entry, extremely confusing, especially if you receive channels multiply, like CH AT and DE versions... plus HD & SD one's each. Then you have ANOTHER (dead) entry coming from guide.
- DVB EPG should be moved to Scheduler Console. Then dispatched by the core to one of the connected recorders dynamically to grab EPG, much more logical and functional. You then really could run EPG grabs quite safely in parallel to recordings.
You could add this as the second up-most entries in the dropdown or add checkboxes (for those who want to use BOTH):
- First Entry: <blank>
- Second: Grab from EPG
- Third: Include in EPG (IF needed at all? I still don't understand that differentiation)
- Then all alphabetically sortet guide chan's.
