Mediaportal Client TV Plugin (Argus 2.1) - EPG not updated

Hello,

Looking into MP TV Client Plugin EPG it just looked like that EPG data of all ZDF channels (Germany) was missing. I was confused because I did not have such problems with Argus 2.0.x grabbing EPG once a day. (At the moment I grab every 4 hours.)
But then I noticed that recordings were scheduled in that time where no programs were displayed. So I just restarted Mediaportal. Looking into EPG I found all channels fully populated.

Keeping in mind that this machine usually is not shutdown but only in sleep mode (so that MP also is not shutdown) leads me to the conclusion that the EPG data was never missing but was not filled into the TV Client Plugins EPG view.

Has anyone else observed a similar behavior?

I have to confirm this behaviour.
Was no problem with 2.01 but epg gets no new data after update to 2.1

Not sure what the problem could be.
Looking in the log file you see that channels that are marked to have holes, but nothing found to update.
Is that a problem?
For the rest of the day this channel is not updated.

Example: 'kabel eins' or 'Sat.1'

I am not sure if I understand the question correct.
It is correct but not complete (that is what this bug report is about).
Since update to 2.1 the epg is running out. Old - previous program information are still available, but every day it becomes less.
I think I have to go back to 2.01 otherwise all recordings will fail.

Right, that's the info I was after. That means this issue has nothing to do with the MediaPortal plugin.

I think this cropped up in the beta testing, but was thought to have been fixed .

Going back, isn't a simple process, the database has had changes which means it won't work in older versions.
You could look at an alternative EPG solution as a short term fix. EPG Collector should be able to grab your OTA EPG and create an XMLTV file to import.

In your case you showed that your EPG data is not present at all (i.e. neither in MP Plugin nor in Argus TV).

Is it possible that grabbing ZDF is just much slower than all other channels?
Having a look through my EPG data I recognized that ZDF EPG data is present "only" for 6 days whereas EPG data for ARD, ZDF and the other public channels was present for almost one month. Now all these channels also have EPG data for this time but ZDF has EPG data for a much shorter period of time.
(Just to avoid mistakes, for the private channels I never got EPG data for more than some days.)

It is allways different for different channels.
I do have ZDF EPG data, but not for the date that is shown in my hardcopy.
If you look at the screen shot you see that some channels are full available for this date, some have no data anymore and some break right in the middle of the day.
If I move to the past all are full - if I move to the future all are empty.
Since this happened only after installing the new version I don't see different behaviour.
