Hi there,

Try to change the config to use non-vhf numbering:

<AntennaUseUhfVhfChannel>false</AntennaUseUhfVhfChannel>

Default is true... setting to false should help.

This value is in the ArgusTV.GuideImporter.JSONService.dll.config file in the Plugins/JSONService directory.

Cheers.

Geoff

Forgot that was a setting I had to change. Fixed now and cleared up the repeat recording issue I was seeing.

Let you know if anything pops up.

Thanks Aaron

EDIT:

Deleted file as I found a bug... will post later when bug is squashed.

---------------------------------

Hi all,

The SchedulesDirect updated the API recently and stated that the version I was using would stop working May 30, 2015. So, I re-jigged the JSON plugin to use the latest API.

You should download this latest version if you're using the JSON plugin.

Cheers.

Geoff

Since it is very time consuming for me to switch between the old and new SchedulesDirect plugin because channel names change and I have to redo all my schedules for recording. I am curious if you don't fix the bug by the 30th should users disable tasks that automatically update the EPG date in order to preserve what is there after the 30th? I usually pull down 14 days so that gives me will into June to wait for a fix before having to switch back to the old plugin.

If you grab 14 days of data, you have until roughly June 14 before you would need to install the new version to support the new API.

Here's the latest version... I squashed the bug I was finding with the difference in the API.

I've successfully retrieved data for 300 channels for the last two nights.

After re-reading @ams123's comments again... you were asking if users need to disable the guide download after June 15th if they are using the older (pre v1.5) of the JSON Plugin....

I assume that the download will just not work... no damage will be done, but no data will be downloaded.

Here is the statement about the underlying API.

http://forums.schedulesdirect.org/viewt ... =17&t=2676

The new date of expiry is June 15, according to the above post.

To be clear, v1.5 (posted earlier) supports the newer (20141201) API and it will continue to work after Jun 15.

Cheers.

v1.5 seems to be working fine. Did notice it pulls down all the guide data it can even though I have it configured for 14 days. Not a problem for me.

How do you install this correctly I do not have any plugins listed in the dropdown menus?

Download the zip.

Open it with admin rights, extract the contents... i don't know why you need admin rights in windoze, but you do.

Then all you do is run the executable.

How do you extract with admin rights I have tried using the one built in windows and running winRAR as admin but neither worked. I am also the Administrator on my PC. Do I need to extract it to a specific directory?
