Dear Wiki User

Welcome! This is the thread where to post your feedback, your criticism, error reports (that you don't want to fix yourself *hint* ;) ), amelioration proposals.
Ask, comment and give us your feedback upon ARGUS TV Wiki pages: http://www.argus-tv.com/wiki

And, of course, if you would want to contribute, you are invited to the Contributor's Thread as well.

Kind regards - Christoph21x

There isn't anything specific. Now that I've worked it out, MS SQL is EASY to install, from memory, you just blindly click next till it installs :D .

There should probably be something, did you just volunteer? :D
You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Server: WHS 2011. Hauppauge HVR 2200. Avermedia A835. ArgusTV Server. EPG Collector.
Clients: Win7 64bit. MediaPortal. ArgusTV Client. StreamedMP.

New article in the wiki, Modules and Setup Types.

Attempts to detail how the different parts of ARGUS TV interact... Sort of.
Hope it can help users (especially new users) understand and better choose setup types

Re-worked: XBMC with PVR support / Frodo's coming

Post by Christoph21x » Thu Nov 29, 2012 12:22 pm

Dear All

Just to let you know: our most-read article has been re-worked on a large scale: "XBMC with PVR Support"
Due to the development of XBMC Frodo (recently published as Beta 1) and the continuous work of margro and Red_F, we re-worked the article concerning Frodo installation.
Please find updated information about if, when and how you may want to move to Frodo, obstacles, hurdles, issues and what you may expect.

Please find the article under http://www.argus-tv.com/wiki/index.php? ... VR_Support

Feel free to post in this forum any mistakes, errors, updates that you might find or have.

Kind regards from Switzerland - Christoph

Another new article, Installing SQL Server pretty basic and still needs information for MySQL.
You can fix it, or you can fix it until it's broken. I usually choose the latter.

Server: WHS 2011. Hauppauge HVR 2200. Avermedia A835. ArgusTV Server. EPG Collector.
